Big Brother Naija Housemate, Tobi has been a subject of mockery sometimes on social media over his “constant begging” and apologizing to fellow housemate Cee-C for doing “Absolutely nothing”.
And now, it looks like things have changed as Tobi walked out on Cee-C 3 times yesterday on the show.
In the conversation Tobi was having with Cee-C, we gathered that Cee-C got angry with him because she thought he was goofing around with other housemates instead of bringing her food. Well just like the Tobi we know already, he still begged.

See What Nigerian Gay Activist, Bisi Alimi Writes About The Popular Black Panther Movie

Gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has written a short interesting piece on Benin and Wakanda, the imaginary kingdom in Black Panther.
He wrote:
“Yesterday, I came across some images on twitter and I did some image checks on google to make sure they are real (images below). The image you can see below is the Benin Empire in mid-western Nigeria. It was one of the many powerful advanced kingdoms that dotted the western region of the country that is now known as Nigeria.
Another of such advanced kingdom is the Oyo empire. I am sure that we all know the concept of an empire and a kingdom will not be called an empire unless it is powerful, advanced in technology, has a system of government that is well respected and an economic policy.
Why am I writing about Benin Empire this morning?
Well, it is the fact that we have been told “Wakanda” is imaginary. We were told that it only exists in the world of our imagination but when I saw this picture I realised it is not so.
The difference between Wakanda and Benin Empire is that like said in the movie “Wakanda was not colonised”, it was untouched by the evil hands of the British, French, Portuguese, Belgian and Spanish scavengers.
To many Africans who questions if they should celebrate Wakanda, why I won’t tell you what to do, I will suggest that you know your history and that in celebrating Wakanda, you are celebrating what was stolen from you, what your fathers built that was destroyed so that the whites can build a future for their children.
To the white that celebrates Wakanda with us, thank you, but see beyond the brilliance of the film and see the reason why many of us think the conversation of reparation is fair. Also, it is important for you to know what Africans would have been like if your forefathers were not so barbaric that they have to destroy heritage, raped women and enslave people.
To the Africans that are celebrating Wakanda, thank you. Thank you, because whether you are aware of it or not, you have connected with the proud history of your forefathers and foremothers. The men and women who stood in pride to defend their integrity, though they fell, in us their spirit rise like the morning sun.
Wakanda forever. .

Man Impregnates, Weds Teenage Sister In Anambra Church

Just like a fairy tale, a 25-year-old man, Mr. Chiadi Ezeibekwe, said he impregnated his 17-year-old younger sister.
As if that was not enough, he wedded her at a church at their Agba village in Ekwulobia, Anambra State. Agba youths, who saw the marriage as “an abomination,” burnt down the church where the wedding was consummated.
It was learnt that the wedding was conducted by Chiadi’s elder brother, Mr. Chijioke Ezeibekwe, a Shepherd of Dwelling Fullness of God Church, Agba. Chiadi quoted Deuteronomy 36: 6, which, according to him, permits marriage between brothers and ssters of the same parents.
However, a member of the church, who spoke on condition of anonymity, countered that. He referred the brothers to Leviticus 18:9, which clearly speaks against marriage between brother and sister.
A source noted that immediately their eldest brother, Mr. Emeka Ezeibekwe, heard of the “incestuous marriage,” he alerted the clan head, who summoned the family to an emergency meeting.
When their father, popularly, known as “Luisco,” was contacted for comments, he said that his concern was a way out of the situation, since according to him, “what has happened, has happened’’.

Range Rover 2018 worth 51million seized by the custom from a smuggler

Officers of the Ogun State Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has recovered a 2018 model Range Rover SUV in a forest in Ifo Local Government Area after it was abandoned by smugglers during a chase by the customs officer.
In just a period of two weeks the Command has seized a total number of 13 smuggled vehicles.
The Controller of the command, Sani Madugu, said this on Thursday at the Idiroko border while briefing journalists about the seizures made in the area within the period under review.
He said the SUV, which he described as ‘the seizure of the month’, has a total duty payable value of N51.2m.
Madugu said the operatives of the command intercepted the jeep along one of the smugglers’ routes around Ifo in Ifo Local Government Area of the state.
He said the smugglers abandoned the vehicle and fled when they realised the Customs operatives had already closed in on them.
He explained that the jeep has a keyless entry, accessible only through a remote control mode. Madugu said on sighting Customs operatives the smugglers abandoned the vehicle and ran into the forest.
“This is the seizure of the month. This keyless entry vehicle has a duty payable value of N51.2m,” he said. Apart from the 13 impounded vehicles, there are other seizures made from smugglers within the period and they are 1,168 bags of 50kg foreign rice, 221 kegs of vegetable oil, five sacks of second-hand shoes, and two sacks of second-hand bags” he said
He added that 12 additional vehicles and 21 motorcycles used as means of conveyance of the bags of rice were also seized. The Customs boss put the combined duty payable value of all the seizures at N153.86m.
Speaking on the attack on one of the operatives of the Federal Operations Unit, serving in Idiroko border, who was attacked with machete last week by smugglers, he warned that the command would not relent in its efforts to curb smuggling in the state.
He said:
“We will continue to make seizures. We will not fold our arms while the smugglers kill or maime our operatives.
“I want to appeal to traditional rulers and other well-meaning elders in the state to talk to those involved in smuggling to look for other legitimate means of livelihood.”

Reason why people engage internet fraud (Yahoo yahoo)

Well known to all even before I mention, this issue of yahoo boys (internet fraudsters) is really pathetic. And the funny thing which is also a bitter truth is that they spend valuable time on this illegal exhibition that they would rather have spent on a more legit and profitable make money online endeavor.
Needless to say that they’ve got several tactics they utilize, trust me, they never run out of ideas!
If you are a frequent internet user, you would have at some points in your online surf come across some posts that look too good to be true and at the same time too tempting to be ignored.
Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud has gone far way more than just dating sites scams, dudes are littered everywhere on the world wide web looking for unsuspecting preys.
But is it really worth it? Damn right, you might say YES! But taking a good look at it from a right mindset, I ask you again, is it really worth it?
Let’s take a swift look into some 6 Reasons Why People Engage In Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud

WHY PEOPLE ENGAGE IN YAHOO YAHOO INTERNET FRAUDS/SCAM

1. OPPRESSION
When a typical young man sees his secondary school best friend stunning with designer shoes on Instagram, For real? I was better than this dude!
That’s the thought that flies through his mind. Or when a rich dude comes around and maneuvers off with his girlfriend, then that feeling of “I must be rich” comes up his head. And if you want to be rich by force, is Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud the best idea?
Let’s leave the answer for a later date.
2. GREED
The Yoruba people will call it “Ojukokoro“. It is that intense and selfish desire for something, in this case, wealth.
When you simply want the whole world to yourself without proportional effort put in. Then to them, the fastest way to this is Internet Fraud, which even in reality is not as easy as it seems.
3. DEPRESSION
This is a feeling of severe despondency and dejection often caused by unfortunate circumstances that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act.
It might be subsequent to oppression, which got a young man thinking deeply about his life, then resort to Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud as a means to live a better life.
4. IMPATIENCE
This is the tendency to be restless. No foresight. The crave for rocket science and the wanting of magical effects in all situations.
Humans should understand that if life was so easy and if goodies came in a rush, there would be no need to do the things we do on daily basis. We need to take it as it comes, doing the right thing the right way, it might take time, but the right time will always be the right time.
The inability to calm down and wait for results subsequent to a positive action often lead to wrong actions, Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud, in this case.
5. ACUTE POVERTY
This is a very serious shortage of purchasing power or of access to the range of resources that provide the basic necessities of life, such as food and shelter.
In cases like this, coupled with some other factors, some are left with no other alternative but to go illegal, pathetic!
6. UNEMPLOYMENT / BAD ECONOMY
I was thumbing through Naijaloaded the other day and I saw a thread that read “I want to become a G boy, I have been unemployed for 5 years after graduating, I need someone to teach me“.
I couldn’t find my way to the thread again, would have dropped a link or probably screenshot.
It’s no news that the state of the nation in terms of job opportunities is bad, but that still doesn’t act as enough justification to do the G, as popularly called.
All said, yet none of this is enough justification to engage in internet scams.
There are loads of Internet Businesses that are legit. Let’s spend our days building a better nation, not spoiling our already crumbling reputation.
